Yiannis A. Nearchou is an advocate at Elias A. Stephanou LLC, since 2017 and his practice focuses on criminal crimes against the person, disciplinary procedures and prerogative orders before the Supreme Court. He was admitted to Cyprus Bar Association in 2015 and since then he is a member of the Nicosia Bar Association.
Prior to joining the firm, Yiannis worked as a lawyer in reputable law firms, while at the same time he has been working for many years as a journalist specialist at court reporting for an important newspaper. Yiannis, since 2016, is a reporter of the largest newspaper in Cyprus, for which he summarises and publishes Supreme Court judgments and analyses their main law issues.
During his experience as a lawyer, he has covered a range of criminal and administrative cases both before the District and the Supreme Court of Cyprus.
